Job Information

We are seeking sales & customer service associates available for full-time or part-time employment. Candidates must be available to work weekends and/or weekdays. Shifts are approximately 9:45am – 5:00pm or 12:00pm – 7:15pm. Customer service experience is a plus. Experience in skiing, snowboarding, cycling, paddling, hiking, climbing, or running is also a plus.

We are also seeking applicants for our paddle shop (raft, canoe, and kayak) opening in mid-April as well as bike sales floor help for summer. The paddle shop remains open until September, but employment may be continued in other departments if desired. 

Essential Job Functions
· Create a positive experience for every customer that walks in the door
· Guide customers to appropriate gear and clothing selections that meet their needs
· Operate store point of sale computer
· Ensure a clean and well-organized work area
· Handle warranty and returns according to the Beaver Sports policy
· Be available to work a consistent schedule
· Attend regular clinics, meetings and training outside of store hours (paid time)
· Stand/walk for extended periods of time
· Perform store maintenance items:  sweep, vacuum, empty trash, clean
· Ensure that every item within our walls is represented in a way that conveys pricing and description information
· Take responsibility for merchandise that is delivered by unloading and moving heavy boxes

Minimum Job Qualifications
· Willingness to set and maintain high standards of performance
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Accuracy and attention to detail
· Enthusiasm
· Experience in sales/customer service preferred
